PNGO condemns bomb attack on Palestinian PM Hamdallah's convoy in Gaza

The Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO), strongly condemns the attack on the Palestinian  Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah's convoy during his visit to the Gaza Strip earlier yesterday .

PNGO stresses that the security services in the Gaza Strip have to prosecute the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

PNGO affirms rejection to such ''terrible'' crime which may thwart the Palestinian national aspirations and may harden the determination to achieve national unity, especially at this critical stage facing the Palestinian cause.

PNGO believes that the Israeli occupation that pursuits a prolonged Palestinian internal division for its strategic benefit, is the real beneficiary of this day criminal and condemnable act.

The Palestinian NGOs Network appreciates the statement made by Dr. Hamdallah , in which he said "what happened to us today will only increase our insistence in ending this division," adding "we will come back to the Gaza Strip whenever we want, to pursue reconciliation".
