PNGO Condemns the Occupation's Threats Against the Madeleine Solidarity Ship and Calls for International Intervention to Protect It

The Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO) condemns the Israeli occupation's threats to intercept and attack the Madeleine Solidarity Ship upon its arrival in the territorial waters of the Gaza Strip.
PNGO expresses its concern over these threats and the safety of the international activists sailing, carrying a human rights and humanitarian message demanding an end to the aggression, the lifting of the Israeli blockade, and the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip.
PNGO notes that the Madeleine, which is approaching the waters of the Gaza Strip, is carrying twelve international activists and quantities of humanitarian aid, which the occupation prevents from entering the besieged Strip that is subjected to daily bombing, killing, destruction, and the repercussions of a humanitarian catastrophe, including hunger, thirst, and disease.
The Network calls on the international community to intervene immediately to protect the ship and its international activists, and to work to ensure the safety of those aboard and their safe passage to the Gaza Strip.
