It aims at ensuring and increasing effective participation of the NGOs in the construction process and integrating the NGOs various sectors' visions in the processes of planning and implementation of the reconstruction process.

The campaign launching followed  a series of workshops that were held by the NGOs sectors to discuss the priorities of each sector separately and the mechanisms for  integrating each sector's vision in the construction process. Bill Boards holding slogans such as  "We demand ensuring women participation in the construction of the Gaza Strip"  and  "The development of education sector is a top priority in the construction of the Gaza Strip" were allocated across the Gaza Strip.  Moreover, series of workshops were held with the competent  authorities.

The launching of the lobbying and advocacy campaign will continue. It will include other various activities that will be implemented by the sectors of the Palestinian NGO's Network through what they see suitable tools and mechanisms such as producing radio programs and short films that deal in depth with the issues of civil society sectors and the construction process, as well as through holding workshops with competent authorities involved in the construction process.

The implementation of these activities are within the project of "Proactive Engagement of Civil Society in Gaza Construction Process " implemented in partnership with the Civil Society Program  Implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)
