Project Manager
Palestine Save the Children – Gaza is looking for experienced professionals to be based in our office in Gaza for the following position:
Job Title: Project Manager
Duties and responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of the project management.
- Provide technical assistance on project improvement.
- Monitor the project activities through extensive meetings with the project staff.
- Review and monitor weekly and monthly plans or reports submitted by the project staff.
- Follow up and monitor the progress of the activities according to the project implementation plan.
- Promote coordination and cooperation with the communities.
- Responsible for reporting, monitoring & evaluation according to the project needs.
- Organizing periodic field visits.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and technique’s.
- Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to the Program Manager.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Management, Business Administration or other related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in project management with NGOs or INGOs.
Knowledge and skills:
- Confident user of MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI), knowledge and use of other statistical packages is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with strong personality.
- Excellent planning and administration skills.
- Initiative, self-reliant and cooperative.
- Excellent time, organizational management skills and motivation.
- Excellent ability to work under pressure and carry out multiple tasks.
