Medical Coordinator
Abdel Shafi community Health Association (ACHA) Is an independent non-profit organization established in 1969 and started to work in 1972 licensed by Ministry of interior in 2003 under registry No. 1901, with support by Ministry of education and Ministry of health for relevant programs.
Abdel Shafi community Health Association is (ACHA) concerned with democracy, development and relief work. Currently, it provides multisectoral services include health, cultural, educational and humanitarian services to all needy citizens in the Gaza Strip. RCS-Gaza is a development civil society organization that seeks to contribute to enhancing the health, education, cultural and social conditions of the local communities through quality comprehensive programs, built upon the principles of justice and equality
ACHA is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of:
Position: Medical coordinator
Type: Full time contract.
Place: Abdel Shafi community Health Association – Field Office and branches
Contract period: 1 year
Job Description:
- Ensure data collection is updated and the information is relevant and compatible with ACHA standards and donor reporting requirements.
- Ensure the use of ACHA visibility materials during project implementations as well as ACHA formats and tools are implemented.
- Support medical manager in preparing the project reports, based on adequately compiled analysis of project medical and health data and referral activities
- Advise and support the Medical Manager regarding the development and progress of the project according to the approved work plan
- Collaborate in the outpatient’s clinic collecting relevant information.
- Ensure clinical supervision.
- Establish and maintain periodic relationship with the representatives of the MoH.
- Initiate and maintain contacts with other medical organizations to stimulate cooperation.
- Attend meetings with national health authorities, health cluster and relevant stakeholders when it is required.
- Prepare required specification and quantities for purchase orders of medicals material supply and consumables.
- Ensure the good use and proper storage of the medical supply and consumables.
- Ensure safety and quality of health care structures and facilities during the project implementation.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in medicine.
- Permitted by Palestinian Ministry of Health to work as human medical doctor
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in health and medical projects.
- Data analysis and writing skills.
- Knowledge of structures and dynamics of the Palestinian Health system.
- Knowledge of Gender and Protection approach
- Languages: English Fluent; Native Arabic.
- Good skills in using computer software (web programs , Office and emails)
