PNGO Denounces the Occupation's Targeting of the Aisha Association for Woman and Child Protection's Headquarters in Gaza City and Demands the Protection of Civilians and Civil Institutions

The Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO) vehemently condemns the occupation's crime of targeting the headquarters of the Aisha Association for Woman and Child Protection in Gaza City. This attack resulted in the martyrdom of one of the employees, a pregnant referee woman, and a child, in addition to a large number of injuries among those present inside and around the premises.

PNGO emphasizes that this Israeli bombardment constitutes a crime within a long series of crimes committed during its aggression against the Gaza Strip, targeting Palestinian civilians and humanitarian institutions.

PNGO affirms that this bombardment is part of the context of Israeli escalation in Gaza City, which aims to pressure the population into forced displacement and to halt the work of humanitarian organizations at a time when our people are in dire need of all forms of humanitarian response, especially women and children.

PNGO calls upon all United Nations bodies and international organizations to work towards pressuring for an end to the Israeli aggression against our people and to provide international protection for civilians and civil institutions.

Furthermore, PNGO demands accountability and prosecution for the occupation for the genocidal crimes it is committing against Palestinian civilians and calls for justice for the victims.
