Palestinian NGO Network: The US administration confirms its bias towards Israel and adopts its vision to end the Palestinian unalienable rights

At a time when recent developments, especially the so-called "Trump plan" for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, confirm the absolute U.S administration bias towards Israel, and in light of the continuation of the genocidal crimes committed by the occupation against our people, the Palestinian NGO Network expresses its position as follows:

While welcoming any effort that leads to an immediate and lasting ceasefire that ends the ongoing genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip, the network warns that the U.S administrations plan in its current form is nothing but a complete adoption of the Israeli narrative and project and represents Prime Minister Netanyahu's success in forcing President Trump to amend the plan agreed with Arab and Muslim countries to suit Israel's demands in its entirety. This plan does not provide any guarantees for the end of the crime of genocide, nor for the end of the colonial settlement project, but is merely a redeployment of the occupying forces and a rearrangement of the killing and destruction mechanisms, with the aim of perpetuating Israeli control over the Gaza Strip for decades to come.

Moreover, by completely separating the Gaza Strip from the West Bank and Jerusalem, the plan aims to tear apart the geographical and political fabric of the Palestinian people, without providing any real guarantees for the establishment of an independent Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its capital, or of achieving liberation from the occupation, or even of stopping the ongoing genocidal machine.

Therefore, we call on all forces and coalitions of our people to unite and provide a unitary response that is consistent with the level of dangers presented, and ensures a real end to the crime of genocide and daily murder and guarantees the right of our people to freedom, return and independence.

The Palestinian NGO Network emphasizes that the primary responsibility of the international community, especially the States with influence, is to dismantle, not to manage or rearrange the system of colonialism, genocide and Israeli apartheid regime. It is also their duty to protect the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the right of refugees to return to their homes and properties from which they have been ethnically cleansed, and the right to self-determination.

In this context, and in recognition of the need for an effective international mechanism to achieve justice and accountability, the Colombian Initiative, presented to the United Nations General Assembly within the framework of the  "United for Peace" resolution, remains the meaningful international initiative that provides a practical framework that ensures that the Government of Israel and its allies are obliged to comply with international law and resolutions of international legitimacy, to put an end to its impunity, and to ensure the protection of the Palestinian people from Israel's system of killing and oppression.

We call on all countries of the world and its living forces to reject any projects aimed at recycling and repackaging the occupation, and we call on them to hold the occupation and its supporters accountable for its crimes against our people and to support the legal and political path that guarantees the rights of our people and represents the free will of the Palestinian people in freedom and independence
