Project Manager
PNGO is seeking to hire a qualified Project Manager in its Ramallah Office.

Project Title: 'Voices of Resilience: Strengthening Palestinian Civil Society for Governance, Accountability, and Solidarity “Rawafed روافد”'
Contract type: Part time (70%) (One year with possible extension)
Reports to: PNGO Director
Background on PNGO:
The Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO) is the largest umbrella body for Palestinian CSOs, established in 1993 and encompassing 150 member organizations. PNGO upholds the principles of democracy, social justice, and sustainable development, working to strengthen and consolidate Palestinian civil society through coordination, policy engagement, and implementation of strategic initiatives with member organizations and networks.
Summary: The Project Manager in Ramallah will ensure that project 'Voices of Resilience: Strengthening Palestinian Civil Society for Governance, Accountability, and Solidarity “Rawafed”' activities and operations are running in ultimately and excellent coordination and communication with all relevant actors are maintained.
Main responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle—from planning and implementation to monitoring, reporting, and risk management—ensuring delivery meets PNGO and EU quality and financial standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary representative for PNGO in the West Bank, facilitating communication and high-level dialogues with donors, partners, government bodies, and beneficiaries to build partnerships and ensure alignment.
Minimum Qualification and Competencies:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Development Studies, International Relations, or other related fields. A Bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience will also be considered.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in project management, preferably within the civil society or development sector.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multi-partner and multi-location projects (West Bank and Gaza).
- Strong understanding of Palestinian civil society needs, structures, and challenges.
- Prior experience with EU-funded projects and knowledge of EU rules and procedures is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and representation abilities in Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proactive problem-solving approach and commitment to transparency and professionalism.
