WB Project Officer
PNGO is seeking to hire a qualified WB Project Officer in its Ramallah Office.

Contract type: Fixed Term Employment (One year with possible extension)

Background on PNGO:
The Palestinian Non-Governmental Organizations Network (PNGO) is the largest umbrella body for Palestinian CSOs, established in 1993 and encompassing 150 member organizations. PNGO upholds the principles of democracy, social justice, and sustainable development, working to strengthen and consolidate Palestinian civil society through coordination, policy engagement, and implementation of strategic initiatives with member organizations and networks.
PNGO is looking to hire a Project Officer in its Ramallah office for project: “RAWAFED روافد’ 'Voices of Resilience: Strengthening Palestinian Civil Society for Governance, Accountability, and Solidarity”. This project is aiming at strengthening inclusive, bottom-up policy dialogue and public accountability mechanisms by embedding coordinated civil society platforms - engaging CBOs, NGOs, INGOs, and public authorities and to enhance civic space protection and advocacy through institutionalized coordination, strategic evidence generation, and formalized international partnerships
The WB Project Officer in will ensure that project activities and operations are running in ultimately and excellent coordination and communication with all relevant actors are maintained.
Main responsibilities
In full cooperation and coordination with the Project Manager and the GS Project Coordinator, the WB project officer will:
- Ensure all activities are implemented according to project action plan.
- Produce progress, monthly reports, and any update on each activity, achievements, and constraints faced, and produce final reports.
- Monitor project outcomes and to ensure all activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with the PNGO different sectors, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure better management and effective implementation of the project plan.
- Maintain the project excellence and quality standards in a manner that is consistent with the organization’s guiding principles, mission, and vision.
- Organize all related logistical arrangements for the planned activities with partners.
- Offer financial monitoring to ensure the compliance with the approved financial procedures.
- Conduct field visits/assessments to ensure that the project plan is implemented in the proper manner and achieves the desired outcomes.
- Submit the required reports and other requirements in line with the approved deadlines and formats.
- Compile, maintain, and document the projects related reports, daily work records, and other relevant documents.
Minimum Qualification and Competencies:
- Bachelor degree in business administration, Development Studies, International Relations, or other related fields.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive experience in project management, preferably within the civil society or development sector.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multi-partner and multi-location projects (West Bank and Gaza).
- Strong understanding of Palestinian civil society needs, structures, and challenges.
- Prior experience with EU-funded projects and knowledge of EU rules and procedures is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and representation abilities in Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proactive problem-solving approach and commitment to transparency and professionalism.
