The Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committees (PARC) is a leading Palestinian Agricultural Development Organization that was established in 1983. Since its establishment, PARC has been efficiently engaged in Palestinian land development, water resources & environment, poverty reduction and women empowerment, olive oil marketing, as well as other crucial rural development programs.

PARC in partnership and close cooperation with Oxfam GB will implement a new intervention targeting farmers who were negatively affected by the collapsed wastewater pond at Gaza wastewater treatment plant (Al Sheikh Ejleen) to help the them reclaim their agricultural lands and re-plant it. Accordingly, PARC is seeking qualified Project Coordinator to accomplish the following:

• Formulate project work plan and follow in detail the operational guidance provided for implementation of project.


• Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.


• Coordinate and implement all activities related to the project.


• Ensure the timely completion of project activities per the implementation and MEAL plan.


• Monitor all aspects of the proposed intervention, including implementation and expenditures.


• Conduct field monitoring visits of project activities and liaise closely with partners’ staff to ensure quality implementation.


• Assist the finance department in preparing periodic financial documents and reports.


• Maintain adequate administration and filing systems.


• Produce high quality reports.


• Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.

Qualifications:

Relevant university degree; in Water and Agriculture;.
Experience:

• More than three years in direct project management experience (Water / Agriculture / Wastewater treatment).


• Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools.

Language Requirements:  Fluency in spoken and written both English & Arabic.
