Contract: 5 months (Full Time)
Report to: Executive director of Aisha Association
Location: Gaza Strip

CONTEXT:
AISHA Association for Women and Child Protection (AISHA), established in 2009, is an independent Palestinian women organization working to achieve gender integration through economic empowerment , psychosocial & legal support to marginalized groups in the Gaza Strip.
Aisha intends to carry out a new project namely “protecting children and adolescents from gender based violence through the promotion of their sexual and reproductive rights in the Gaza strip” (SRHR) on Gaza Strip funded by Save the Children and with partnership of it. It is worth mentioning that this project has been implemented before by Save the Children in Lebanon, Yemen and Opt West Bank.


JOB PURPOSE:
The key function of the outreach & documentation Coordinator is to provide logistical and co-ordination support to the team working on SRHR funded by the Save the children. Under the direct supervision of (Director of the project) she\ he will carry out all planned activities in an effective and timely manner. She/ he will supervise the field workers working for this project. In addition to that, she/ he will ensure that the project implementation is according to the milestones set in the approved action plan and required quality criteria. Such that, she/ he will participate in analysis of the target Group.



MAIN DUTIES:




  • Coordinate project activities with the project team and with partner.

  • Actively coordinate a range of project tasks and to ensure timely delivery, monitoring and reporting of them.

  • Oversee and manage day to day implementation of project activities in close collaboration with the project staff, as per set in the action plan

  • Manage the processes related to the assessment, planning, implementation, and follow up activities.

  • Engage with stakeholders including organizing and facilitating meetings

  • Prepare periodic narrative and analytical reports on the project activities and progress.

  • Contribute to writing success stories, and other documents, as required.

  • Provide the field workers with advice/ feedback once needed.

  • Contribute to the planning, preparations, and undertaking of various procurement activities. [where relevant]

  • Perform quality assurance field visits for the targeted families, verifying the collected and computerized data among beneficiaries of the program through an ongoing follow-up basis with appropriateness.

  • Ensure efficient internal monitoring of the project, and compliance with funder’s requirements.

  • Collect and maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all activities and results.

  • Participate in the preparation of materials required for the training.

  • Build networking ties and cooperation with relevant institutions

  • Represent the project and its activities in a positive and professional conduct on a permanent basis.

  • Participate in the meetings of the working crew and other related meetings

  • Perform any other work entrusted to him / her by the Executive Director



QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES




  1. Bachelor Degree in public administration, English or any related field.

  2. At least 3 years of proven experience in managing/ coordination of projects, preferably related to women and children issues.

  3. working experience in community development projects.

  4. Working experience in women projects.

  5. Excellent organizational and planning monitoring and evaluation skills

  6. able to schedule and priorities people and activities to meet operational deadlines.

  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills including negotiating and influencing skills and ability to write clear & concise reports.

  8. Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English

  9. Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Application (Work, Excel, Power Point,….)

  10. Ability to handle multi-tasks in a fast paced environment.
