Women's Affairs Center Launches Media Campaign "She Leads" on Social Media Networks

Women's Affairs Center in Gaza (WAC) launched an electronic campaign on various social media networks entitled "She Leads … Yes, She Can". This campaign comes within the framework of "Promoting Women's Participation and its Impact on Formal and Informal Political Decision Making Process in the Gaza Strip" project, funded by Kvinna till Kvinna Organization, Sweden.


Reem Al Nairab, Project Coordinator at WAC, talked the goals the campaign aims to achieve by the end of the year, most important of which is: highlight the reality of political participation of young women in the Gaza Strip and the challenges they face; the increased numbers of male and female advocates; and raising awareness at community level on women's political rights, specifically young leaders.


Al Nairab mentioned also that a variety of media activities will be implemented using diverse tools and means targeting the local public, youth, influencers, journalists, women, and policy makers.
