Our sincere greetings,
We address you from the heart of suffering, where the unjust blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip for nearly twelve years. This blockade is accompanied by extensive and aggressive military operations which affects infrastructure, production and public facilities, and targets human resources leaving casualties, martyrs, wounded and persons with disabilities. At the same time, we see settlement expansion, confiscation of land and Judaization of Jerusalem in the West Bank, and the continued suffering of our heroic prisoners in the occupation’ jails, who suffer from the hardest kinds of oppression and humiliation in total denial of international conventions and norms. This comes in addition to the various financial and economic pressures and the attempt to starve and humiliate the families of martyrs, prisoners, the wounded and people with disabilities.
We approach you with confidence and appreciation for supporting our people’s struggles and to strengthen its steadfastness in the face of attempts to eliminate and dismiss our just national cause, which is protected, respected and ensured by resolutions of the Arab League, the United Nations and the international humanitarian law. This comes at a defining moment in which the occupation state wants to end the rights of our people, land grabbing, separate the Gaza Strip from the West Bank, establish a system of Apartheid and racial discrimination in the West Bank and complete the crime of Judaizing Jerusalem. The occupation aims to achieve this at the expense of the territorial unity, people and identification therefor at the expense of the rights our people guaranteed by international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
The extreme right-wing government in Israel is exploiting the unlimited support of US President Trump, the latest of which was his decision to annex the Golan Heights to the occupation state, which is preceded by resolutions aimed at resolving the major issues related to the Palestinian cause, including Jerusalem, refugees and settlements. These acts decimate opportunities for peace and working to eliminate the established and legitimate rights of our people, which all comes the context of the preparation of the Trump deal, which fully adopts and supports the Israeli right-wing biblical narrative and policy.
Confronting aggression and racism by the occupation state requires hard work to support the rights of Palestinians, including reconsidering official normalization of relations, which the occupation state does not understand as a message of peace. It will rather invest in marginalizing and weakening our national cause and singling out, dispelling its rights guaranteed by international law and the resolutions of international legitimacy. It will therefore have negative repercussions on the inalienable national rights of the Palestinian people.
We are looking forward to you with hope and confidence. We only have the Arab backing and support, and friendly international support, to strengthen our existence on our land and to foster steadfastness and support its just and legitimate struggle in order to ensure attainment of Palestinians’ right to freedom, independence and return.
We also look forward to reinforce the Egyptian role in ending the Palestinian division to achieve reconciliation and national unity, as our people's only path towards salvation from occupation and attaining national goals.
