The paper, prepared by researcher Talal Abu Rukbah, said that the Palestinian community in the Gaza Strip was not immune to these dramatic transformations that have ravaged human societies as a result of the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic, but the Palestinian specificity in dealing with this pandemic stands out in the implications of this on the nature of interactions and social relationships

Furthermore, the paper recommended the need for NGOs to respond to the challenges posed by this pandemic, and to move quickly towards adopting programs and projects aimed at promoting a protective culture.   The paper also suggested adopting a set of urgent humanitarian interventions to protect society, ensure its safety, and face the negative effects of precautionary measures.

The paper also stressed the importance of preparing an economic and social emergency plan to ensure the provision of basic human and human needs for citizens, especially marginalized and vulnerable groups, and for the government to take its social role and bear the responsibility of meeting the requirements to people.
