The five Democratic Factions and the Palestinian NGOs Network (PNGO) affirmed their rejection of law by decree No. (7) of 2021 regarding amending the Charitable Associations and Civil Society Organisations Law.

PNGO demands the reversal of such law since it seriously affects the independence of civil work and the role of charitable societies and organizations.

During PNGO's meeting with the democratic factions’ representatives, they stressed the need for action at all levels to cancel this decision that completely contradicts both national consensus and the decree of public freedoms.

They also stressed the need for continued efforts in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank to demand the repealing of this law by decree and warning of its repercussions
