Remedial Education Center ( REC )  concluded a training course in intervention and techniques of selective therapy for adults and children, which was implemented from 1/7/2021 to 15/7/2021 with thirty hours training, and from 09/01/2022 to 20/01/2022 with thirty hours training through a local trainer within the project title Strengthening and Implementation of the Psycho-Social Support Services of the Family Center Project (R.E.C.) for the children and families of the Gaza Strip implemented by Remedial Education Center (REC) in partnership with laboratory of Health , Conflict and psychology – Italy ( He, Co, PSY) which funded by Chiesa Valdese-Italy  from 01/07/2020 to 28/02/2022. The training targeted (20) Among the workers in the association and community base organizations partner, including psychologists, social workers, and educator.

The training topics focused on the different schools of integrative psychotherapy in the process of treating behavioral and emotional problems, which aims to integrate the aspects of personality through the implementation of many activities and selective exercises to modify behavior, thoughts and feelings in practical ways by discovering strengths and weaknesses in the personality, self-monitoring, management and organization time and different life skills.

The implementation of these two courses are considered as have been completed the mentioned project, which included the implementation of five training courses, which are as follows:

• Techniques OF Mind and body for adults and children, for thirty hours of training.
• Techniques of Focused therapy for adults and children for thirty hours of training.
• Techniques Selective therapy for adults for thirty hours of training.
• Family therapy, "theoretical framework, methodology, and intervention techniques," with a total of one hundred and twenty hours of training.
• Selective therapy techniques for Children  for thirty hours of training.

The association organized a special celebration to announce the end of the project, where the project manager, Mr. Husam Hamdouna, thanked all the local and international lecturers represented by Mr. Alaa Jaradh as a local trainer and Mr. Alberto as an international Italian trainer, in addition to all the trainees who participated in attending the mentioned training courses. Also special thanks to the Chiesa Valdese-Italy  for its funding of the mentioned project, wishing this funding to continue in order to continue the work of the family center of the association with the most marginalized groups and suffer from difficult psychological, social and economic conditions. During the  ceremony distributed introductory materials about  the project (brochure) .
