The Palestinian Environmental Friends Association (PEF) carried out a distribution campaign that included hygiene kits in several displacement camps in the Deir al-Balah and Khan Yunis areas. This was implemented as part of the project: “Providing Support to Vulnerable Groups in the Gaza Strip by Ensuring Safe and Sufficient Access to Water and Sanitation Services.”
This activity was carried out in partnership with Oxfam and funded by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), as part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to support affected families and the most vulnerable groups in the Gaza Strip, and to alleviate their suffering amid the difficult humanitarian conditions in the region.
The association emphasized that this activity is part of a series of humanitarian and relief interventions it implements in cooperation with its local and international partners, with the aim of strengthening the resilience of the local community and improving the living and health conditions of affected residents, especially women and children.
The Palestinian Environmental Friends Association (PEF) also affirmed its continued commitment to carrying out more projects that address the basic needs of residents across various areas of the Gaza Strip.
