Field Assistant

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to develop detailed work plans for each project output.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring logistical arrangements are in place.
  • Maintain a comprehensive calendar of project activities and milestones.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.

2. Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Collect and compile data on project progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist in preparing regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the Project Coordinator in monitoring project activities to ensure they are on track and aligned with project objectives.

3. Communication and Collaboration:

  • Facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders.
  • Assist in maintaining regular communication with project beneficiaries and participants.
  • Collaborate with different departments within PMRS to ensure a coordinated approach to project implementation.

4. Documentation and Knowledge Management:

  • Maintain organized documentation of project activities, including meeting minutes, reports, and relevant materials.
  • Assist in developing knowledge-sharing mechanisms to ensure project insights and lessons learned are captured and disseminated.

5. Support in Capacity Building Activities:

  • Assist in coordinating training sessions, workshops, and events as required.
  • Support the identification of resource persons and facilitators for various training and capacity-building activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred in a health-related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) issues is a plus.
  • Previous experience in project coordination or assistant roles is desirable.

Reporting: The project assistant will report directly to the Project Coordinator and provide regular updates on project activities, challenges, and achievements.

Duration and Location: This is a one-year position based in Gaza.
