The Palestinian NGOs Network is appealing urgently all international bodies to intervene immediately to stop the Israeli occupation attacks against hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip and to allow firefighters and Civil Defense to reach Al-Awda Hospital in Tal Al-Zaatar, north of the Gaza Strip, to extinguish the fire caused by the occupation shelling.

PNGO refers to the deliberate shelling of the drug store as well as fuel tanks in Al-Awda Hospital in Tal Al-Zaatar, north of the Gaza Strip, where the fire is raging and the occupation forces prevent the Civil Defense from reaching it to extinguish the fire.

We emphasize that the Israeli occupation aims to render Al-Awda Hospital out of service, like all hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip.

PNGO warns that the fire is spreading and has hit the fuel and water tanks, and there is severe damage to the hospital facilities, as the occupation tanks are still surrounding the hospital and preventing staff and volunteers from extinguishing the fire, which is spreading rapidly.

PNGO also calls for all international bodies to act to protect the hospital and its 130 staff and volunteers, in addition to dozens of patients in the hospital's departments, and to allow the arrival of the Civil Defense urgently.
