PNGO Health Sector Condemns the Ongoing Israeli attacks on medical personnel and Demands International Protection to Palestinian People

Health Sector in the Palestinian NGOs network calls on the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to work hard in order to provide the necessary protection to medical personnel from the Israeli Occupation attacks. They also called for holding the Israeli  occupation accountable for its crimes against medical personnel and ambulances.
PNGO health sector refers to the killing of the paramedic “Mohammed al-Jedaily” yesterday succumb to his injuries sustained by the Israeli occupation while performing his humanitarian duty in rescuing the wounded in the northern Gaza Strip. Which raises the number of martyrs of the Israeli attacks on medical teams since the beginning of the Great March of Return (30th March, 2018) to four martyrs as well as hundreds of wounded.

PNGO health sector stresses that the silence of the international community towards the occupation practices and continuous attacks on medical personnel and its reluctance by carrying out real and serious measures to hold the occupation accountable and provide protection for medical personnel encourages the Israeli occupation to commit more crimes against medical personnel.

PNGO health sector expresses their condolences and solidarity to the family of the martyr al-Jadili and colleagues in the Palestinian Red Crescent and the ambulance crew.
