Fundraising & Communications Consultant (Part Time)

Position Overview:
The Thalassemia Patients' Friends Society – Palestine (TPFS) is seeking a motivated and experienced Fundraising and Communications Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis in Ramallah. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in the Palestinian NGO/CBO sector, particularly in health, youth, and human rights. The successful candidate will lead efforts to secure funding and improve the organization’s public outreach and donor engagement through compelling communication in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality concept notes, grant proposals, and donor reports in both English and Arabic.
  • Support TPFS to identify and pursue new funding opportunities from international donors, foundations, and relevant partners.
  • Maintain and ensuring timely communication and reporting when needed.
  • Support the organization’s visibility and advocacy work on health rights and issues affecting people living with thalassemia in Palestine as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • University degree in public health, communications, international development, human rights, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Palestinian NGOs or CBOs, with a focus on research, fundraising, communications, and/or donor engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience writing proposals and reports in both Arabic and English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Experience working with donor-funded programs, particularly in emergency, health and youth sectors.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in digital communication platforms and social media management.
