Multiple Positions under MAP-Funded Project
Women’s Affairs Center (WAC) is an independent and non-profit Palestinian NGO with the purpose of advocating women’s rights and gender equality through Empowering Women, Information and Research, and Advocacy and Outreach programs. In partnership with Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), WAC is awaiting funding for the implementation of the project titled:
'Provision of high-quality, safe and inclusive GBV prevention, mitigation and response services to the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls affected by the Conflict and Displacement in Gaza.'"
WAC is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the following positions based in Gaza:
1. Data Entry
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and manage project data related to all services and activities, including sessions, cases, distributions, and referrals -
- Maintain organized digital and physical records while ensuring data confidentiality and protection -
- Support monitoring and reporting by preparing summaries and tracking tools in coordination with the MEAL team -
- Verify data accuracy and completeness in collaboration with project staff -
- Assist in preparing datasets for internal reports and donor submissions -
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Business Administration, or any other related field-
- Minimum of one year of experience working with NGOs in data entry or related administrative roles-
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy-
- Proven experience using data management or spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or similar)-

2. Lawyer
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual legal consultations to GBV survivors, including guidance on rights and procedures-
- Facilitate the issuance of missing legal documents and coordinate related legal services-
- Conduct legal awareness sessions on topics such as protection laws, marriage rights, custody, and legal recourse-
- Offer mediation and conflict resolution support to women when appropriate-
- Document legal cases and ensure proper follow-up and referral when needed-
- Collaborate with the case management team to ensure integrated support for survivors-
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law and valid license to practice in Palestine-
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with NGOs, preferably in legal aid, GBV, or human rights-related fields-
- Solid understanding of Palestinian legal frameworks, especially those related to women’s rights and protection-
- Experience in conducting legal awareness sessions and drafting legal documents-
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with sensitivity to working with survivors of GBV-
- Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and survivor-centered approaches-

3. Case Manager (2 Positions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management services for GBV survivors, including assessment, planning, referral, and follow-up-
- Develop individual case action plans based on survivor needs and priorities-
- Ensure timely and confidential referrals to legal, health, and psychosocial services-
- Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation and reporting-
- Participate in supervision, case conferences, and capacity-building activities-
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field-
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in NGOs, preferably in case management and GBV response-
- Knowledge of GBV principles and survivor-centered approaches-
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills-
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism-

4. PSS / Case Worker (6 Positions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychosocial support to GBV survivors, including assessment, planning, and follow-up-
- Conduct needs assessments and develop individualized care plans-
- Facilitate emotional support sessions and group activities-
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with internal and external service providers-
- Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation and reporting-
- Participate in supervision, case discussions, and capacity-building activities-
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in NGOs, preferably in psychosocial support and GBV response
- Knowledge of psychosocial support principles and survivor-centered approaches
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

5. GBV Worker (2 Positions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver GBV awareness sessions and workshops to communities-
- Support outreach activities and community mobilization efforts-
- Facilitate group psychological first aid (PFA) activities-
- Distribute informational materials on GBV and sexual and reproductive health (SRH)-
- Maintain records of sessions and outreach activities-
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field-
- Minimum of two years’ experience working in GBV prevention, awareness-raising, or community education within NGOs-
- Strong communication and facilitation skills-
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse community groups-
- Knowledge of GBV and SRH concepts preferred-

6. Focal Point (Administrative Incentive) at PFBS
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as liaison between the project team and PFBS site-
- Coordinate scheduling of services and manage logistics-
- Support documentation and reporting for field activities-
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with WAC staff-
- Assist in resolving administrative issues on-site-
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field-
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a focal point or in similar coordination roles within NGOs, projects, or related environments-
- Strong coordination, organizational, and multitasking skills-
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities-
- English fluency is required-
- Experience in administrative support or project coordination preferred-
