Overview

Women’s Affairs Center (WAC) is an independent, non-profit Palestinian NGO dedicated to advocating for women’s rights and gender equality through its Empowering Women, Information and Research, and Advocacy and Outreach programs. In implementing its strategy to achieve its vision, WAC is guided by international human rights principles, including empowerment and participation, equality and non-discrimination, and accountability, to ensure justice and dignity for women

Women’s Affairs Center (WAC) is seeking a qualified female candidate to fill the position of Social Media Specialist to manage WAC’s digital platforms, produce content, and support .communication efforts in line with international human rights and protection principles

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage social media platforms, particularly Facebook (posting, engagement, and messaging)-
  • Design digital and print materials, including infographics, using Canva and/or Adobe. Produce digital content supporting training programs and success stories-
  • Produce digital content supporting training programs and success stories-
  • Organize and coordinate online networking events (Zoom / Google Meet)-
  • Provide technical and organizational support for online meetings with partners and experts-
  • Prepare digital performance reports and analyze key indicators-
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of digital campaigns on beneficiaries’ employment opportunities and professional development-

Required Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, IT, Digital Media, or a related field-
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or in a relevant position-
  • Ability to create digital designs and visual content using Canva and/or Adobe-
  • Experience in producing digital content and success stories-
  • Good command of Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive)-
  • Good knowledge of content management systems, e-learning platforms and digital reporting/performance indicators (preferred)-
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team-
