Project Coordinator and Field/Logistics Assistant
Women’s Affairs Center (WAC) is an independent and non-profit Palestinian NGO with the purpose of advocating women’s human rights and gender equality through Empowering Women,Information and Research, and Advocacy and Outreach programs. While implementing its strategy to fulfil its vision, WAC is guided by international human rights principles including empowerment and participation; equality and non-discrimination; and accountability to ensure justice and dignity for women.
WAC is set to implement two humanitarian projects in Gaza. Funded by Christian Aid, the project "Promoting Humanitarian Response in Gaza" aims to address urgent needs exacerbated by ongoing war in Gaza, focusing on displaced women and children through psychosocial first aid, hygiene kits, legal awareness sessions, and community initiatives. Funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the project "Improving Access of War-Affected Women to Humanitarian Assistance in the Gaza Strip" seeks to enhance protection and provide dignified assistance to vulnerable women and their families, emphasizing psychosocial support, dignity kits, and mother-baby kits.
Positions Available:
Project Coordinator – Full-time
Number of vacancies: 1
Location: Gaza Strip
Projects Duration: 5-6 months
Responsibilities:
- Manage the monitoring, implementation, and reporting processes for the project.
- Conduct monitoring and evaluation activities, ensuring quality assurance for project implementation.
- Prepare timely and high-quality progress reports and donor reports as required.
- Monitor project financials to ensure alignment between activities and expenditures.
- Coordinate effectively with relevant stakeholders to facilitate project goals.
- Provide daily progress updates on project activities.
- Ensure organizational compliance with project timeline and deliverables.
- Offer regular feedback to the director on implementation progress and recommendations.
- Collaborate with other coordinators at WAC to facilitate effective project implementation through streamlined information flow and coordination.
- Perform other relevant duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, English Language, or related fields.
- Minimum three years of relevant professional experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Commitment to gender equality and ethical work principles.
- Strong reporting, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet tools.

Field/Logistics Assistant – Full-time
Number of vacancies: 2
Location: Gaza Strip
Projects Duration: 5-6 months
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate field activities and ensure timely aid distribution.
- Procure and deliver necessary supplies for project activities.
- Support monitoring, evaluation, and reporting efforts.
- Maintain safety protocols during field operations.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders.
- Manage documentation and logistical planning.
- Adhere to organizational policies for efficient project implementation
- Developing logistics plans, schedules, and workflows to support project timelines and goals.
- Contribute to coordinating the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Contribute to maintaining accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and correspondence with suppliers.
- Supervise the project daily site activities to ensure adequate quality and progress.
- Conduct sound coordination, implementation, and monitoring of field work activities of the project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum two years of experience in logistics or field operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
